Oceanliner Designs began as a COVID lockdown hobby in late 2020 - now it is the biggest maritime history channel on YouTube!
The story has its origins with ‘Liner Designs' & Illustration’. Researcher and illustrator Mike Brady (left) began his business in 2018 selling prints of ships, using his experience as a designer to depict over 35 ships from history, both famous and forgotten alike. The move to YouTube came when Mike made a video aimed at explaining some of the more interesting aspect of his then-recent Lusitania illustration.
Since the first video was published in 2021, Oceanliner Designs has amassed a following of nearly 1 million subscribers with 5-10 million monthly viewers of the channel and over 200 million total views.
The channel has grown exponentially - and so too has the team of passionate and dedicated people who work with Mike to tell maritime history’s greatest stories. Writers, 3D modelers, animators and more have combined their talents to create truly captivating documentary content.
